Michael

Michael is 22 years old. He is serving in the United States Navy and is stationed in Sasebo, Japan onboard the USS Richard Bonhomme. He is a 3rd class petty officer. He is enjoying his independence and is traveling the world. He has been to Thailand, the Phillipines, many places in Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Bali and even Australia. He has just re-enlisted and will be staying in Japan for about another year and a half.

Nathan is 20 years old and living in Florida. He is working and attending college. He is planning on joining the Air Force soon.

Rachel is 17 and enjoying her senior year in high school. She is a Varsity Cheerleader and also involved with Student Council and Link Crew. She works as a busser at a new restaurant in town and loves her job and her boss. She plans to attend Dixie State College (soon to be university) after graduation this year.

Marshel is 10 years old and loves being in the 5th grade. He loves math and science and is a great reader. He doesn't like to write, but is getting better at it. He is in Cub Scouts in Webelos and loves going to scouts each week. He loves playing sports and video games. He took piano lessons and is really talented in it. He is excited to work as Stage Crew on the school play.

Kellee is 8 years old and in the 3rd grade. She loves going to Activity Days every other week. She also auditioned for a townsperson in the school play and is excited to be in The Music Man. She is growing up into a young woman already.

Our Dogs

We lost Chewie in 2011, at 9 years old. She developed a lump on her nose, which was diagnosed as cancer and she was given only about 6 months to live. After 3 months, she was so uncomfortable and couldn't breathe, that we chose to let her go. It was very hard for us, but we know she is now running free and keeping all of our family in heaven happy.

Snickers is her usual excitable self. She loves sleeping with Marshel and Kellee and has her spot on the couch. She loves "talking" to Mom every night around the same time, asking for her treat.

We had Sophie for a little bit, but had to find her a new home. We fostered Spot, a tiny Chihuahua, for a couple of months until her "parents" could find her somewhere to stay. We babysit the kids dog, Luke, once in awhile when their dad is out of town.
