Kellee's Fieldtrip to the State Capitol

I love going on my kids' fieldtrips whenever possible.  This time it was with Kellee's 3rd grade class.  We went to the Arizona State Capitol.  First we visited the Capitol Museum with some cool things, like artifacts from the USS Arizona, the Native Americans, and more.  We had a tour of where the 1st Constitutional Convention of Arizona was held and where it became a state.  We also toured the Senate building and spent time learning about where the laws are made.  Then, we had lunch and then went to the Memorial Park where we had a scavenger hunt trying to find the different information about each of the memorials such as WWII Memorial, Arizona Police Memorial, etc.  It was fun and we headed back to the school on the bus, tired and happy about the day.

This is her "MOM" look.

Just got off the bus, ready for our tour.
